Australian School Girls Basketball Tour to the US. Your generous support is tremendous and we are extremely thankful.
For those who attended the trivia nite and golf day we hope that you had a great time. A special Thank You to Kilner Mason who donated his beautiful property “Lucy’s Hideaway” for first prize in the guessing competition.
Tahlia will proudly wear the green & gold and your support has helped make this happen.

Level 0 Coaching Course
Nov 16th
Penrith Basketball Association will be conducting a level 0 coaching course on Thursday the 17th of November at St Dominics College. To coach in the PDBA local competition you must at least hold a level 0 certificate.
Any parent or teacher that would like to learn more about basketball is also more than welcome to attend.

Tahlia’s Texas Tour – Aussie Trivia Night

Join us for a night of Fun for Tahlia, help her get to the USA for the Australian Schoolgirls Texax and Arizona Tour.
Date: Saturday 12 November
Time: 7pm for 7.30pm start
Venue: Penrith Valley Regional Sport Centre
$10 per person, tables of 10.

In selecting the teams we have, where possible, acceded to the requests of individual players. Unfortunately we cannot always accommodate these requests. Reasons for this include the need to comply with Penrith & Districts Basketball Association By-Laws for the competition.
Please be supportive of the Coaches and Team Mangers that have volunteered or been asked to assist with the teams for the Summer 2011/2012 season and remember these people volunteer their time and energy to assist the club and your children.
All positions with in the Club including the Committee, Coaches and Team Managers are on a volunteer basis.

Preparing for the upcoming rep trials? Here’s your best way to make sure you know the drills to do your best when it comes to making a team for the 2012 season.
The course will be ran on Tuesday the 4th and Wednesday the 5th of October. There’s a flyer attached below but you will want to make sure you register early as last holidays we saw 80 participants. We’ve opened it up this time to 100.
There will be local and guest coaches, including NSW and ex-NBL Coach Mark Watkins.

Tahlia Tupaea – what a champion!

Tahlia Tupaea has been selected to play in the Australian Schoolgirls team in the US later this year. The club is extremely proud of Tahlia’s achievements. We also congratulate her as she has been nominated as the Penrith Press’ junior sport star of the week.
